Fruhauf Music Publications announces new releases for choir and organ

Fruhauf Music Publications announces the availability of three newly edited verse anthems for choir and organ.

Unnumbered Through The Ages celebrates All Saints with an original hymn text and tune.

A Starlit Night It Was In Bethlehem, written in the tradition of the English carol and based on an original text and tune, is suitable for celebrations of Lessons and Carols and the Christmas season.

A Choral Meditation on 'Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence' – with its traditional English text and familiar tune – is appropriate for communion, or for Epiphany with its references to light and enlightenment.

All three anthems include obbligato organ accompaniments; the first two settings are moderately difficult, with descants, a cappella passages and florid free harmonizations. The choral meditation's unison vocal lines and transparent accompaniment will produce a hushed sense of liturgical drama.

For the church organist, a two-volume collection of organ Free Harmonizations featuring 79 verses based on 50 hymn tunes will provide many fresh and stirring alternative accompaniments. And for the solo organist, a new edition of Cesar Franck's Symphonic Interlude from his oratorio, Redemption will challenge performer and instrument alike.

New website features at www.frumuspub.net include revised pricing, unified booklet format (softbound 8 1/2 x 11"), and simplified e-mail, USPS mail, and phone ordering processes.

The site also offers two complimentary PDF downloads: a condensed organ accompaniment for Handel's Hallelujah chorus from Messiah (in a 2-stave 5 page layout); and an arrangement of Bach's familiar Jesu, bleibet meine Freude (in traditional 3-stave 4 page organ format).
