Andrew Peters accompanied Harold Lloyd’s silent film Safety Last! at Cox Auditorium, Principia College, Elsah, Illinois, on February 7. Students of the college had been studying silent film in Rose Whitmore’s Music in Film class.
Peters is minister of music at Second Presbyterian Church, St. Louis, Missouri, and ensemble organist for St. Louis Symphony; Whitmore is college organist and associate professor at Principia College.
Principia College houses Casavant Opus 3838, which was featured on the cover of the May 2006 issue of The Diapason.
