Arvid Gast to Oberlin College Conservator

 Arvid Gast

Arvid Gast is appointed visiting professor of organ, Oberlin College Conservatory, Oberlin, Ohio, February through May.

He is a sabbatical replacement for Jonathan Moyer, who assumes Gast’s duties as professor at the Hochschule für Musik in Lübeck, Germany, and titular organist of the historic Stellwagen organ in St. Jakobi, Lübeck.

Gast is noted as an interpreter of German Romantic organ music and as a pedagogue and jurist.
