Katelyn Emerson recording

ProOrgano announces the release of a new CD, Evocations, featuring Katelyn Emerson in her debut recording release playing the 1936 Aeolian-Skinner Opus 940 of the Church in the Advent, Boston, Massachusetts.

Emerson is associate organist and choirmaster at the Church of the Advent and is a member of The Diapason’s 20 Under 30 Class of 2015.

On this disc, Emerson performs works of Nikolaus Bruhns, Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, Jehan Alain, Charles Vierne, Charles Tournemire, Herbert Howells, and Thierry Escaich.
