
Kathleen Scheide is appointed organist of Peace Lutheran Church, Perkasie, Pennsylvania, where she plays the four-manual organ originally built in 1892 as Frank Roosevelt Opus 528 for Synagogue Keneseth Israel, Philadelphia.
She has a particular interest in historic American organs and in previous positions has played and spearheaded restoration of instruments by Beach, Hook, Jardine and Skinner. She continues to teach at Rowan College, Burlington County, New Jersey.
