The album is a musical celebration of Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris, France, and Marian music.
Recorded on the North German Baroque organ of Örgryte Nya Kyrka, Gothenburg, Sweden, the largest meantone organ in the world, based on Arp Schnitger’s design and philosophy, the disc features works by Arnolt Schlick, Buxtehude, Scheidemann, Correa, and Bach, including settings of Salve Regina, Maria Zart, and Magnificat.
