Madison Symphony Orchestra organ recitals

Madison Symphony Orchestra, Madison, Wisconsin, continues its 2017–2018 season of solo organ recitals in Overture Hall:

February 20, David Briggs;
April 17, Isabelle Demers;
May 11, Greg Zelek.

Built by Orgelbau Klais in Bonn, Germany, the Overture Concert Organ consists of 63 stops, 72 ranks and 4,040 pipes. Including its unique movable chamber, the organ weighs in at 174 tons and is believed to be the heaviest movable object in any theater in the world.
