The University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana, and the Westfield Center for Historical Keyboard Studies announce a conference to be held at the university, September 10–13. Recitals by Christophe Mantoux, Kimberly Marshall, and Craig Cramer will be offered on the university’s Paul Fritts & Company Opus 37, newly installed in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
Dedication of Opus 37 as the Wayne and Diana Murdy Family Organ will occur on January 20, with blessing of the organ by the Most Reverend Daniel R. Jenky, CSC, bishop of the diocese of Peoria, Illinois, followed by a recital by Craig Cramer.)In the DiBartolo Performing Arts Center, recitals will be presented on the Fritts Opus 24 organ and the Italian organ by Annette Richards, David Yearsley, Robert Bates, Matthew Dirst, Paul Walker and Stephen Lancaster (organ/voice), Kevin Vaughn, Nicole Simentel, and Annie Laver.
