Parsons Open House

Parsons Pipe Organ Builders of Canandaigua, New York, will host an Open House on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 1–5 pm, at their facility. They will showcase the recently completed, 40-rank, 3-manual, electric-slider instrument built for The United Church (Presbyterian/American Baptist) in Canandaigua, New York.

When installed at the church, the organ will be located in chambers on either side of the chancel. The façade casework and pipework is entirely new. The remaining pipework is 85% repurposed with six new ranks. The mechanism of the instrument is all-new including wind supplied by wedge bellows. Installation will begin the week of March 16th, with completion anticipated by the end of May 2016.
