Simon Johnson USA tour

Simon Johnson

Simon Johnson, Organist and Assistant Director of Music at St. Paul’s Cathedral, London, will be on tour in the USA in early January 2018.

The schedule includes

January 3, 7:30 pm, St. Peter’s Cathedral, Marquette, MI.

1/5, 8 pm, Rockefeller Chapel, Chicago, IL

1/7, 3 pm, Grace Cathedral, Topeka, KS.

1/9, 7 pm, St. James Episcopal Church, Alexandria, LA.

1/12, 7:30 pm, Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem, PA.

1/14, 3 pm, St. Ignatius Loyola, New York, NY. St. Ignatius Loyola concert is one of their concerts celebrating the 25th anniversary of the installation of the church’s  N. P. Mander organ.

At St. Paul’s Johnson plays the largest Mander installation in Great Britain. Recently he played solo recitals at the Royal Festival Hall in London, and at the Eglise Saint-Antoine des Quinze-Vingts in Paris, with both receiving very fine reviews. In addition to these recitals he will be accompanying the St. Paul’s Choir on their tours of the USA in April and of China in October. In the summer of 2018 he will play a number of concerts in Norway, Sweden and Germany.
