Twin Cities AGO competition

The Twin Cities Chapter of the American Guild of Organists announces a competition for an unpublished, meditative work for solo pipe organ. A single prize of $1,500 will be awarded.

Any person with permanent residence in North America is eligible to submit a composition that is a minimum of four and no longer than seven minutes in length, and which uses original material (does not incorporate any pre-existing work or melody).

Submissions must be postmarked before May 1, 2016; winner will be announced June 1, 2016. One entry per person.
