University of Alabama Keyboard Festival, January 22-23, 2016

The University of Michigan's 38th Annual Conference on
Organ Music took place October 11-13, 1998. The conference began with
three consecutive organ degree recitals performed in Hill Auditorium by U of M
graduate students David Hufford, Edward Maki-Schramm, and Jeffrey Blersch.
Hufford performed the Ann Arbor premiere of William Albright's Flights of
Fancy and dedicated the performance to the memory of Albright, who had coached
him on the piece.

Marilyn Mason led a
group of aficionados on the University of Michigan Historic Organ Tour XXXII of
the Iberian Peninsula June 12-23. The tour gave everyone an opportunity to hear
and play many unusual organs. We had been invited to present concerts in four
of the cities; seven organists played: Rick Berg, Marilyn Mason,
Karen Phipps, Michael Price, Dorothy Scott, Dale Shoemaker,
style='font-weight:normal'> and Hugh Young.

The Bedient crew returned to the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, this fall to install four organs that were damaged by flooding last year

Since its inception in 2002, the Eastman Rochester Organ Initiative (EROI) has transformed the musical landscape of Rochester, New York, and its surrounding community by assembling an extraordinary collection of new and historic organs. The EROI festivals showcase these instruments and bring together scholars, performers, and audiences to explore facets of organ history and culture.
