The University of North Texas, Denton, hosted its first summer organ academy June 28–July 2 and welcomed twelve students from across the country to its campus for study and learning.
\Malcolm Matthews, joined by Lenora McCroskey, Michael Conrady, and Chase Loomer (a member of The Diapason’s 20 Under 30 Class of 2025) led classes on repertoire, improvisation, and liturgical playing, and the group traveled to Dallas to see five landmark instruments. Once again, next year’s students will be fully sponsored for the 2026 academy.
