Heywood, Hohman and Hell perform during Kotzschmar Organ's 100th Anniversary Celebration

A triple bow before a standing ovation at Merrill Auditorium at the conclusion of the Monday night, August 20 concert, showing (from left to right) Australian organist Thomas Heywood, American organist Frederick Hohman, and German-born organist Felix Hell.

All three virtuosos appeared in a gala two-hour concert during the 100th Anniversary Celebration of the Kotzschmar Organ at Portland, Maine's, city hall auditorium, sponsored by the Friends of the Kotzschmar Organ (www.foko.org).

The event, billed as "The Three H's Concert:  Heywood, Hohman and Hell" was broadcast live over the Maine Public Radio Network, with Pipedreams host Michael Barone and Suzanne Nance as on-site radio commentators.  The concert was also recorded by the Maine Public Television Network, and it was edited to fit a one-hour format as part of the "Maine Arts!" television series, which was broadcast on September 17.

The entire public television broadcast is archived and may be viewed free of charge at http://video.mpbn.net/video/2279118589.
