Ivan Bosnar CD

Form and Function

Pro Organo announces a new organ CD: Form and Function ($17.98), featuring Ivan Bosnar performing on the 1890 Carl Barkhoff organ as restored in 2017 by Parsons Pipe Organ Builders in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Auburn, New York.

Bosnar is the winner and audience prize winner of the 2020 American Guild of Organists National Competition in Organ Improvisation. On this disc he performs works of Camille Saint-Saëns, August Gottfried Ritter, and Charles Koechlin, as well as improvisations, including a passacaglia and fugue.
