Robert Kyr: All-Night Vigil

Robert Kyr: All-Night Vigil

Cappella Records announces a new choral CD, Robert Kyr: All-Night Vigil (CR426), featuring Cappella Romana directed by Alexander Lingas performing the title work by Robert Kyr.

All-Night Vigil takes its texts from the same 15 selections of the Orthodox Vigil for the Resurrection set by Sergei Rachmaninoff. Kyr employs an English translation by the late Archimandrite Ephrem (Lash), to whom this work is dedicated.
