Létourneau Opus 128

Orgues Létourneau Limitée announces the signing of a contract for a new pipe organ with the Church of St. Joseph in Greenwich Village, New York City. The III/39 organ will be built with mechanical key action and electric stop actions, and include a multi-level system of pistons.

It will replace Aeolian-Skinner Opus 1225 (1952, rebuilt by Thomas Martin in 1975). Marking Létourneau’s second instrument in New York City, their Opus 128’s completion is expected before Christmas 2014.
