St. Albans Competition

The St. Albans International Organ Competition has announced its winners from the July 2015 competition.

First Prize Interpretation and Gold Medal winner is Johannes Zeinler of Austria; Second Prize Interpretation and Peter Hurford Bach Prize winner is Davide Mariano of Italy. The Tournemire Prize for Improvisation was presented to David Cassan of France. The Paul Patterson Prize (for the best performance of the commissioned work) and Audience Prize went to Zita Nauratyill of Hungary. The Douglas May Award was presented to Thomas Gaynor of New Zealand.
