St. Albans Competitions

The 2015 St. Albans International Organ Festival Competitions will take place July 8–18.

The interpretation competition will feature a new work commissioned from composer Paul Patterson, and a concerto final round, with the Wiener Akademie directed by Martin Haselböck.

Improvisers will have an opportunity to perform in alternatim with sung chant and an array of percussion.

The competitions are open to organists under the age of 33; closing date for receiving entries is March 16. For information: www.organfestival.com.
